DOWNLOADING IMAGES FROM THE DATABASE
 

Terms of use


The Macroscopic Solutions image database is an open-access database. If you use Macroscopic Solutions’ images or data in publications, it is required that you cite Macroscopic Solutions in the following way: 

    Saftner, Daniel M., Smith, Mark R., Evans, Annette E. and Bellaire, Joseph H. (2013). Image Database: Macroscopic Solutions, LLC. 
 

Additionally, upon requesting to download an image from the Macroscopic Solutions gallery, you will  be prompted to provide information, which includes your name, organization, location, how you will be using the image(s) downloaded, etc. It is required that you provide all information. Refusal to do so will result in the inability to download the requested file(s).

 

Support the propagation of the information amongst your colleagues by letting them know that Macroscopic Solutions exists and that the files posted in the image database are for public use. Please do not redistribute Macroscopic Solutions images as files on electronic media (Flash drive, CD-ROM, etc.), but refer anyone directly to the image database on the Macroscopic Solutions web page.
